The reason that we should create a holiday where we pay respects and more to the Holocaust is because the United States played a role in the Holocaust by letting numerous scientists and more who were involved (maybe not directly) in the holocaust step away free through Operation: Paperclip. The perfect way for the United States Government to give back to the Jewish Community would be through creating a Holiday respecting those who died in the Holocaust and a holiday celebrating Anne Frank and her life.
