Background checks should be conducted on all sales. Anyone has ready access to a gun without a background check since guns purchased at gun shows and private exchanges do not need to be checked. It just does not make sense. Congress needs to stop backing down to the NRA and begin voicing the opinions of 90% of the citizens of the United States.
