Each year thousands of students eat at the Washakie dining center at the University of Wyoming. Once the meal is finished, students place their dirty dishes on a rotating conveyor-belt type machine that quickly whisks them out of sight. As alert citizens, we refuse to accept on faith that all of these dishes simply go back to the kitchen to be cleaned. Those who sign this petition recognize that something nefarious is happening. We demand the truth. We will not be lied to. Tell us: where do the plates go? we deserve to know.
