In light of recent issues with Online-only Digital Rights Management, it seems only fitting that the use of such controls should be taken off the table for those games, and other pieces of software, where full online interaction is not only illogical, but unwanted. For the protection of consumers, every non-subscription game must be required to have an off-line component that does not require an Internet Connection to utilize, and any game that currently does not have such support must be retrofitted to include an off-line mode.
