Make unrestricted internet access a fundamental human right.

Created by C.E. on July 15, 2014

In order to exercise our freedom of opinion and expression, freedom of assembly, and stimulate both artistic and scientific innovations it is imperative that we establish the unrestricted and undiscriminating access to the internet a fundamental human right. The internet was created by the American people and has sparked innovations which not only benefit the citizens of the United States, but also people around the world. Other countries have already adopted the right to internet access, yet the country that created the driving force of the information age is reluctant to do so. Given the past SOPA and PIPA bills, and the current threat to net neutrality, I petition the government to protect our ability to exercise our rights over the internet by ratifying the right to internet access.
