On Oct 3, 2015 military aircraft destroyed a hospital in Kunduz, AF. At present the casualty count lists 22 dead, 10 patients including 3 children and 12 staff members. The bombing took place despite the fact that MSF had provided the GPS coordinates of the trauma hospital to Coalition, Afghan military, and civilian officials as recently as Tuesday, Sep 29, [five days before the airstrike] to avoid the hospital being hit. The United States has promised to investigate this incident fully but there is little evidence in its recent history to believe this. "We petition that the President of the United States make this government a signatory to seek to activate the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission, for an impartial investigation into the Kunduz attack by US military aircraft.
