make the use of artificial food dyes as an ingredient in packaged food illegal.

Created by C.D. on November 04, 2013

Artificial food dyes are not allowed in packaged foods in several other countries and international markets, such as the EU, Australia, and Canada. Why? Artificial food dyes harm the health of both children and adults. They are linked to cancer, ADHD, and allergies. If such substances are considered harmful abroad, then why are they allowed here? Please petition the FDA to raise its food standards to meet the level in other developed countries. Americans deserve the same protection from their government!
