90% of the products sold in America are made in China. The Chinese government uses 'labor camps' to produce the products. People in these camps are forced to work 15 hour days without a day off, not even for holidays. They make the equivalent of $1.61 a month. By allowing U.S. companies to continually outsource production to these labor camps, we are enabling the mistreatment and abuse of these people. Since our market is so overwhelmed with products made there, it is nearly impossible for American citizens to simply choose not to purchase 'made in china' products. Our inaction has given them a monopoly, an abusive and degrading monopoly. Forcing American companies to keep their production in the U.S. will only help our economy to grow stronger and to put us back to work.
