Rather than giving banks, government employees, and schools the day off in observance of Veterans Day, give Veterans the day off and let the rest of the country work.
It's a common sense approach and one that would seem to make logical sense. A veteran would simply submit a copy of their DD214 to their employer and be granted a paid day off on Veterans Day as thanks for their service to our country.
