Make Veterans Day a paid holiday for all honorably discharged veterans.

To petition our goverment to make Veterans Day a paid holiday for all HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS much like Memorial Day. The reason is quite simple, it is a way of honoring all Veterans who have made unique and ultimate sacrifices in defending and protecting our country from all threats foreign and domestic. This would allow Veterans to make up for lost time away from families and would be a small gesture from our government as well as our citizens to honor all the sacrifices made. I know personally, there were many holidays that I was deployed overseas away from family and loved ones, more times than one day a year could make up. Let's show our Veterans that we appreciate all that they have done and make Veterans Day a paid holiday off for ALL honorably discharged veterans!
