Make voting more accessible by creating online voting.

In order for elections to be more representative of the sentiment of the eligible voting population, voter turnout must be increased. By creating an online voting platform, voting becomes more accessible and does not require people to take time away from jobs or other important events to participate in their civic duty. In order to uphold true democracy and have a government run by elected officials that are supported by the people, at least half of the country should participate in electing their officials. Voter turnout should be increased by all means possible. The United States has one of the highest percents of people with access to the internet, so an online voting site has the potential to drastically increase participation in voting and a population happier with its government.
