Voting should not be a burden in any way, shape or form. It is a liberty afforded to all citizens and should be encouraged.
1. Eliminate the electoral college.
If a voter in Florida votes, the voter is given 29 electoral votes divided by the 19.3 million population then each has a .0001503% of an electoral vote.
In California, the voter would have .0001447%.
Those are not equal.
2. Make voting electronic.
If government issued loans and sensitive information is fine to be transmitted on the internet, so are votes. Create a website with a mobile component that would allow voters to login and cast their vote efficiently. This would allow many to vote from home or work and avoid any inconvenience. For those unable to access a computer, public facilities would provide computer access.
