Voting is one of the most important things a citizen can do to take part in government. Why are we only allowed one day to vote? And why is that day a Tuesday? This results in low voter turn out, long lines, and disproportionate minority participating. A lot of people cannot afford to take time off to go vote, even if they are allowed to.
