It is way too easy to create a petitioners profile, anyone with multiple emails can make up fake names and sign negative or harmful petitions multiple times, This site should have a system in which to register you must have:
A US drivers license or ID number and
A Social Security card or immigrant ID number
in addition this site should make it where only residents from State X with political issue Y can sign on those particular petitions, it makes no sense or reason for a person in NY to vote on or sign to petition legislation for TX or vice versa
