Congress is as unpopular as tooth cancer. Why? Because they're seen as corrupt and uninterested in what the people want. But it's the people who are disinterested too. The country has grown cynical. Congress listens to what lobbying groups want instead of regular citizens, and citizens become jaded and apathetic.
What a site like this does is involves people and helps them make their voice count again.
We need a site like this for congress. Big time. I envision the first page having a map of the current senate and of the current house, with leaders visually labeled. Congressmen could have pages where you post things like this; states could have pages with current issues. I'll let your web designer figure out the rest.
Bottom line: help bring power back to the people.
