Make weekends be workdays and weekdays become days for no work

Every Friday afternoon, American workers look forward to the weekend to be able to spend more time with their families, relax, sleep in, meet with friends for a drink, or just be able to stay home out of the cold weather outside. We get more as the days go by, getting closer and closer to Saturday. Then finally, as if only a couple hours have passed, it's Monday morning and we're woken up by those dreadfully annoying sounds that come out of our alarm clocks and cell phones, as if laughing at us for the days to come of hard work and bland coffee. I create this petition to make Saturdays and Sundays days of work and Mondays through Fridays nationally be days off. We do not get enough time every week to really do the things we would like, and that's against what being an American is all about
