I am an 18 year old college student. I'm taking 13 hours in college which is considered full time and I'm also working 2 part time jobs in my free time around classes. I'm tired of seeing people come into my store where I work (which is QuikTrip) and buying things such as redbulls, burritos, candy, etc. All these 'junk foods' on food stamps, and then buying a cartoon of cigarettes and lottery tickets in cash. I am not working 2 jobs to pay for their chocolate craving and gambling problem. Those are items that are privileges, not necessities. I'm fine with helping the ones less fortunate as long as they are spending my hard earn working money on reasonable things. Limit what they can buy with those food stamps, they're just wasting OUR money.
