The military members and their families have been subject to home intrusions, roaming vagrants (some in clown outfits), and fires being created in our trash bins in attempts to burn down our homes.
This has gone on for far to long. There is not enough security to go around, the community is completely open to the outside world, and the matter will only get worse has the 900+ members transfer to the Island. I believed once that military housing was a safe place to raise our children and enjoy our lives. But now we are forced to protect ourselves with a neighborhood watch.
I propose to make the community a gated community. Require military ID be shown before entering. This is government property and its being walked all over. Call the local police department for verification on mishaps.
