Voting is an American right and responsibility. Many in this country cannot find the time, restricted by employers, or believe that they can not afford to do so.
Having a national Holiday would make it possible for more citizens to exercise that responsibility. Making it a National day where all are given either a whole or half day off would give more citizens the ability to make this country about "We the People" and VOTE.
