Puppy mills are awful farms where cages of dogs are stacked on top of each other. The dogs are rarely fed and the cages are never cleaned, leading to the dogs losing parts of their body, abilities, or even can lead to death. They are used to breed their entire lives and the puppies are sold to pet stores. If the dogs are annoying the owners of the farm, many times the owner will rip the vocal cords out. All of this is legal and no one has taken action.
