Man each and every (public) school with police officers to protect our children.

In the wake of 9/11 our airplane pilots were issued guns to protect our planes. In light of all of the school shootings, we need to protect our children! Each and every school in this country that receives government funding should be manned by an armed police officer. Each level of agencies were (and still are) eligible to receive Homeland Security grants, in which they received training, materials, vehicles, extra man hours, etc. We need to realize "terrorists" can come from within, and protect our children! And as what happened in China, it isn't just guns as the weapon of choice. We need trained officers to deal with the threat from within! There is a reason malls hire off-duty officers, aren't our children worth more than clothing in a store!?
