This proposal asks the federal government to protect the natural environment, and the health of federal employees and citizens doing business with the federal government, by managing its properties and lands according to organic methods, as described in the USDA's National Organic Program. It should not require actual certification as organic, but would be an executive order mandating only organic methods in the management of federal properties and lands. So no noxious chemical pesticides or herbicides or fertilizers on federal properties and lands.
