I believe that the United States government should mandate that all companies provide paid parental leave to all employees at 80% of their normal wage for 180 business days (or 36 weeks/8 months). This includes both biological and/or adpotive mothers and fathers who have been working at the same company for at least 6 months prior to benefit start.
