This petition is to urge the Obama Administration, through Excutive Order or other means to change to, or endorse the use of Instant-Runoff Voting (IRV); a voting system in which voters rank their choices according to preference.

Why it's good for voters: IRV allows better ballot access for independent and third-party candidates candidates by eliminating the fear of a wasted vote.
Why it's good for the Administration: IRV will allow votes that would ordinarily split an election to be redistributed to give a clearer view of voter preference.
Why this is good for everyone: By allowing voters to vote based on Principle, not Party, we will have a government that more accurately represents the it's people, and puts Policy before Politics.
