Any time that billions of dollars of profit are being realized from contracts with a government, deeper scrutiny should be required. We need to stop allowing wall street lobbyists to dictate law enforcement and punishment policy.
Non-profit organizations won't have the incentive to imprison MORE and MORE citizens the way that for-profit corporations do. We need to put a stop to the poor practices and appalling results of our privatization of prisons in our once great nation.
