The use of GMOs in food production continue to expand. While most of the European Union mandates labeling of all food products produced with GMOs, the United States does not.
Companies such as Monsanto, big producers of GMOs, continue to influence the process of determining the safety of such foods.
Until the scientific community can evaluate the full impact of such content free of undue influence, consumer choice should and must be protected.
