Mandate all law enforcement wear cameras on duty in order to create accountability, and protection, for all.

Created by A.N. on September 14, 2014

Police officers have remained largely unchecked in the U.S. - recently, several locales have begun to institute a policy requiring their officers to wear cameras while on duty, this creates accountability for both the officer, and those with whom the officer comes into contact. By filming the actions of all parties involved, there is an assurance that the officer's actions (whether they be positive or negative) are documented and available for review, as well as the actions of the citizen, thus a certain level or restraint, respect, and courtesy is encouraged for both parties. This level of accountability has led to a positive review of police interaction in the areas these policies have been instituted. Provide accountability for both our police and our citizens.
