Mandate all police officers, nationwide, to wear body cameras during interaction with the general populations

Created by T.T. on April 09, 2015

I believe it is necessary for officers of the law to wear body video cameras while interacting with the general public to ensure the safety of both the officers as well as the people they come into contact with. The cameras will first help the general public by ensuring that whatever happens during an interaction, will be recorded and, if needed, will be watched in any case. This will help any police brutality cases and will shield away from "he said/she said." Also, this will help police officers' protection. Anything that occurs on duty with another individual can and will be video taped. This will help not only the individual officer, but assist the state and federal government from avoiding any untruths told by someone to avoid a citation/arrest. This is meant to help both parties.
