Mandate all police officers wear Body Cameras while at work & carry Personal Professional Liability Insurance.

Created by J.T. on December 05, 2014

In light of all of the reports of Police Brutality in recent years, It is time to mandate that ALL of our Law Enforcement Officers wear body cameras while on duty. The cameras must remain ON for the entire shift. The footage would protect both officers & the public. The cameras would provide an unbiased account of all interactions.

Also, the high costs of excessive force, wrongful death and other litigation the Police Force places on local tax payers, It would be prudent to require all Police Officers purchase and carry Professional Liability Insurance as a condition to remain working. So, if there is a law suit, the police officer & the insurance company pay the victim, instead of the tax payers.
