Most countries especially in Asia have security guards manning the entrances on all public places most especially in schools. Banning high powered firearms will be a long debate...This is a good first line of defense in case a mentally deranged person plans on doing these evil acts. School lockdown is just the last resort...If our government will mandate this policy on all schools and malls, there will be no excuse not to implement this.
