We are petitioning to mandate that all states have a locksmith licensing and regulation program to protect citizens from vital breaches of security, as well as other scams and exploits.
Here are some possible considerations to protect citizens
1)Require states to maintain records of locksmiths
2)Implement Federal/State locksmith licensing guidelines
3)Manage a national registry of operating locksmiths
The results of the above actions would lead to the following improvements to the locksmith trade
