All vehicles owned or leasted by the U.S. Government are to be hybrids or all electric by 2025. The U.S. Government owns the largest fleet of vehicles in the world. If this mandate is in place, the auto industry will create vehicles to meet this demand. At the very least, over all carbon emissions will be reduced because of just the reduction from US Government vehicles.
