We petition that all applications in the United States Of America include "American" as an option for ethnicity. There is a grave culture war that seems inherently woven into political platforms, job oppotunities, educational institutions and many other aspects of our country. Granting this petition will include "American" as an option for anyone born in the USA with legal citizenship, regardless of the color of their skin or where their ancestors came from. We are the people who don't wish to be statistics and manipulative tools used by those looking to appear culturally diverse on paper and TV while actually basing all of their decisions on the very stereotypes they claim to oppose. Inclusion of the "American" option will allow the people of the USA to obtain equality in our society.
