Reduce our National Debt and Government Spending. Cut and mandate the pay of Congress and Senate members to mirror the Military pay scale, where congress members are to receive the same pay as a military officer in the O-4 pay grade. Time in congressional service will be used to determine step of paygrade. Pension and benefits for congressional service to be adjusted to reduced pay scale.
