While gun control and mental health reform may be in your crosshairs, both are long term agendas. What we need right now is immediate action with immediate results. What we need is safer more secure schools. Not only should you mandate but also fund security improvements for EVERY school. At a minimum, this should include new doors that have the ability to lock so that you can get out but not in other than at one entrance location. This entrance location should also include security. Not a guard, but a sworn and armed police officer so that they have the training and the authority to act on any given situation.
No child should be afraid to go to school and no parent should be afraid to let them go. The safety of America's schools and children are in your hands.
