Mandate Auto Company's to make Headlight and Taillight replacement simple instead of Labor Intensive.

Created by V.B. on January 16, 2013

Have you tried to replace a headlight or taillight on your 2000 or newer vehicle?? If so then you know what I'm talking about. I work for a major auto parts retailer where as a courtesy we replace for free headlights and taillights when purchased at our store. We have customers with 4 year college degrees who cannot figure out how to replace them. Headlights, taillights and turn signals are a major auto safety issue. Many automobile accidents causing severe injury or death can be attributed to a headlight, taillight or turn signal that is not working. Auto Company's have intentionally made replacing these bulbs very difficult in hopes that customers will bring their car to the dealership for bulb replacement so they can charge them for a service people have always done for themselves.
