Mandate common-sense gun control legislation be discussed and voted upon despite gun lobby money.

Created by M.H. on December 02, 2015

With more than 1 mass shooting per day occurring in the United States in 2015, it is beyond time for common-sense gun control issues to be debated and voted upon. This needs to, somehow, be done *without* the influence of the gun lobby's money, which has outspent gun control groups (like the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund, Independence USA PAC, and Americans for Responsible Solutions-PAC) 7 to 1. Obviously the NRA is pushing money into politicians pockets, and fear into people's minds, making them believe guns are the answer. Only by removing the money's influence will any reasonable action be taken. I'm not sure how this can be accomplished, but we have to believe it can be done, for the future safety, and sanity, of the country.
