The United States is experiencing an unprecedented number of attacks on women's access to safe, legal reproductive healthcare. Extreme anti-abortion laws are being drafted across the country that threaten the health of millions of American women and are based on patently false assertions and misinformation. They are overwhelmingly written by individuals with little knowledge of female reproductive biology and health issues, as demonstrated by current events, but who still believe they have the right to blunder into the most intimate parts of private citizens’ lives armed with dubious science. We demand accountability from lawmakers and women's healthcare policy based on factual, well established medical information that respects the autonomy of female citizens regarding their own bodies.
