Mandate all Congressional members pay to mirror all changes to military pay. Pay changes, stops, holds, reductions, increases, and forecasts for Congress should mirror military pay to ensure checks and balances and the correct decisions are being made. Military members have skin in the game, thus it is time for Congress to have skin in the game to take away the attraction of reducing or changing the pay of those who serve to protect those who make and pass the laws.
Why do those that fight for freedom not get payed during budget and law battles, when those at home failing to pass budgets and laws causing the non payment continue to get payed?
