Once a congressman is elected there is nothing to ensure they properly represent their people. Congressmen regularly pick a subject to defend that the CONGRESSMAN wants to see change, not the PEOPLE he or she represents.
We need a nation-wide electronic system that allows, WE THE PEOPLE, to decide what the Congressmen will fight for throughout his or her term in office. It should be mandated that the Congressman follow only what the voters want and not the personal bias of the Congressman!
Once an official is elected and is in office WE may not approve of their decision making. The elected official MUST remain a figurehead of the state and not a holier than thou renegade with a personal mission of how he or she plans to run things!
