If a person pays off a debt that person's debt history is completely wiped out, if somebody pays off a debt, it should not erase that persons debt history it should stay on their credit report to reflect the person's responsibility.
If a debt goes to collections and the person pays of the collection agency, it makes does not improve their credit score at all, if a debt goes to collections and is paid off that should improve the persons score.
If a bill goes to collections it affects the persons credit, but if a bill a bill is payed on time it does not effect a persons credit. Paying Bills on time should be put down as positive marks on credit scores.
Creditors should report immediately if a debt is paid off or payment is made.
Employers should be banned from using credit checks.
