Mandate a death sentence to criminals that commit crimes with guns. Leave the 2nd amendment alone.

Instead of focusing on gun laws to infringe on the 2nd amendment and law abiding citizens. The government needs to focus on stopping the crimes before they happen. If criminals start realizing that robbing a store at gun point gets them the death sentence sooner or later it will stop because they will be dead. The death sentence should be mandatory for a guilty verdict (and only 1 appeal). Focus should be on stopping criminals from getting guns and committing crimes with guns. Drugs are illegal yet America still has a huge problem with drugs, drug related crimes, drug deals and users, which are all criminal acts. More gun laws will only affect law abiding citizens and leave us defenseless against the criminals that don’t follow the laws anyways.
