Elected officials hold some of the most important positions in America. They have the ability to create laws and guide our nation. We should take steps to ensure that elected officials are not influenced by illegal drugs by mandating drug testing on a regular basis, such as is already in place for the Military or proposed for people receiving government benefits such as welfare.
