Mandate Employers to offer in-service non-hardship withdrawals to IRAs for better retirement planning flexibility.

Created by R.V. on April 23, 2015

Employer sponsored 401K plans are limited in the number of offerings they offer for employees. As a result, employees are stuck with these options in addition to paying Expenses and Management fees for funds that do not even make money. This results in slowing down the growth of the nest egg and sometimes even resulting in loss of money. If employers offer in-service non-hardship withdrawals, them employees have the flexibility of moving the money to IRAs where they can manage the money on their own without the burden of high Mutual Fund fees. There are a number of companies which offer this feature currently. By making this a mandatory feature, this benefit would be extended to everybody in the nation's workforce.
