This petition is to create and mandate a citizen review board for all Law Enforcement Agencies. This would provide a way for victims of police misconduct or corruption a means for obtaining justice. In many cases Law Enforcement Agencies have internal affairs departments that are "inside" administrative offices. This allows for corruption to take place within the department and inhibit justice for victims of Police misconduct. An outside citizen review board would consist of a board a citizens that have no affiliation to Law Enforcement. The review board would have power to take Administrative action against law Enforcement Officers. This will allow for an unbiased system that victims of Police misconduct can turn to if the police department does not seek justice.
