With the tragic loss of MH-370 it has become apparent that the current technology onboard our current aircraft is lacking the tools to prevent or report critical data when needed. I propose that all passenger aircraft be upgraded with a 1-way realtime internet uplink. This will allow for the appropriate agencies to acquire critical information needed without having to recover the data recorder.
With modern technology peoples lives could have possibly been saved.
