It is evident that the people will be the ones to pay for failure to reach an agreement by the Congress and President on the Fiscal cliff and National debt solutions. As such in order to encourage agreement I propose that wages of members of Congress and the President be reduced by 75% until such time that an agreement on legislation is passed. Further, all wages garnished this way shall be applied to the national debt.
