A recent bill signed into law by Wisconsin governor Scott Walker mandates that a woman must undergo an ultra sound (either topically or trans vaginal) of the fetus prior to an abortion with the intent of providing that woman with the ability to make an "educated decision."
I do not feel that this bill goes far enough to complete the education, and should include the male party responsible for 50% of the pregnancy.
In the interest of fully educating both parties, this petition demands that in cases where a woman is required to undergo an ultra sound prior to a legal abortion, the man responsible for the same pregnancy should also be subject to an ultra sound of his own reproductive organs, including a rectal ultrasound of the prostate.
