Mandate the Federal Government utilize the USPS for all shipments. Canceling the GSA's agreements with FedEx and UPS.

Created by R.I. on September 30, 2013

Presently the GSA (General Services Administration) has contracts with FedEx and UPS for a majority of US Government agencies shipping needs. At a time where the USPS is struggling to stay in the black, its a stab in the back to the USPS to have the US Government spend taxpayers money with private carriers over the USPS. The ONLY time FedEx or UPS should be utilized is in cases of unusual or high risk shipments. The day to day express mailings should not be going to private companies but rather should be sent USPS.

Thus we ask the administration to direct the GSA to end any current agreements and replace them with utilizing USPS services for a majority of government shipping needs.
