Mandate Federal Insurance Coverage for Autism Diagnosis and Treatment as a benefit covered by insurers.

Created by D.G. on November 03, 2015

32 states have laws on the books mandating insurance coverage for Autism. Back in 2008, a bill was drafted to Mandate Federal Insurance Coverage for Autism and we the people are disappointed that the Obama administration has not followed through with it. Please urge President Obama to amend health care reform and help State employees, Federal employees and all employees and their families in the 50 states by having Insurance companies provide the much needed Autism Therapy/Treatment services, such as: Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy etc. as a covered benefit by insurers. So that kids on the spectrum can grow and develop at a level appropriate with their peers by making this a Federal Mandate Insurance Coverage for Autism Treatment.
